Bascom Hall Elevator 2 is currently out of service until a full replacement is completed (tentatively Spring 2025).

Note the following exterior accessible route information for the Office of Student Assistance and Support and conference rooms (ground level) and the Center for Academic Excellence (basement level 2):
- The Office of Student Assistance and Support on the ground level, along with all conference rooms, are accessible through the north exterior entrance within parking lot 11.
- The Center for Academic Excellence (basement level 2) is accessible through the west exterior entrance, across from Ingraham Hall. This entrance includes an accessible ramp.

How to get to Room 272
From outside Bascom Hall use northeast accessible ramp and entrance and head west (straight) to Elevator 1, proceed to second floor.
From the basement/ground levels exit north to sidewalk, head east (right) and use northeast accessible ramp and entrance, head west (straight) to Elevator 1, proceed to second floor.
Basement Elevator Maps
Elevator 2 at ground level (Office of Student Assistance and Support and conference rooms) alternative to reach Elevator 1 for University Communications or levels 1, 2, and 3:
- Exit north out of Bascom through Room 51 to sidewalk.
- Head east (right) and use northeast accessible ramp and entrance to access first floor.
- Continue west (straight) to elevator 1.
Elevator 2 at basement level 2 (Center for Academic Excellence) alternative to reach Elevator 1 for University Communications or levels 1, 2, and 3:
- Head west through corridor past reception desk.
- Turn south (left) past B19.
- Exit west (right) out of Bascom (steps or accessible ramp).
- Turn north (right) towards Sewell Social Sciences to sidewalk.
- Head east (right) and use northeast accessible ramp and entrance to access first floor.
- Continue west (straight) to Elevator 1.

- Head east to open rotunda area.
